Peking University HSBC BMP Guangzhou Inaugural Class Holds 10th Anniversary Gathering at Topteck Headquarters

On January 15, 2024, the 10th-anniversary gathering of the Business Model Innovation and Capital Operation (BMP) Class 16 (Guangzhou inaugural class) from the Peking University HSBC Business School was held at the headquarters of Topteck Stone Group, the enterprise of classmate Gong Meihua.

 

 

 

Entrepreneur classmates arrived at Topteck's headquarters as scheduled. Accompanied by Gong Meihua, they watched the corporate promotional video and visited the natural and artificial stone material selection center. Gong Meihua first expressed his welcome and gratitude to the teachers and classmates for holding the anniversary celebration at Topteck. He shared the development changes of the enterprise and himself over the past decade, as well as the concept and plan for building a stone sharing platform. He also shared the original intention and vision behind establishing Topteck's headquarters in Sanlongwan, Foshan in August 2023, emphasizing the goal to leverage the strong synergy of Guangdong's building materials and home furnishing industry and the locational advantage of being near Guangzhou South Station to create a shared platform for material selection and sample signing for designers in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

 

 

 

 

Hosted by the class advisor, Gong Meihua, as the host, delivered the opening speech, followed by addresses from class committee representatives. Entrepreneur classmates then took the stage in a drawn sequence to share their stories and exchange gifts. Centering on the theme "Our Ten Years," they shared their most memorable events, turning points, or significant experiences from the past decade, depicted their past and future selves, and offered suggestions for the class's future development. A decade of fellowship remains unforgettable, and the reunion left a lasting impression.

 

Topteck provided venue support for the classmate meeting and prepared a sumptuous banquet. According to reports, the Peking University HSBC Business School was established in 2004 as an institution integrating teaching, research, and social services, with Professor Hai Wen, then Vice President of Peking University, serving as its founding dean. On August 30, 2008, HSBC donated 150 million RMB to support Peking University in building a world-class business school, and the school was officially named "Peking University HSBC Business School."
